IT IS ELECTRICAL TAPE! It isn't packaging or duct tape. Electrical tape has mild adhesive. It is not going to hurt that hamster when the tape is removed.

has it occured to you anon that u are a idiot. read the caption, natural selection can be tampered with. by attaching the knife the gerbil is better suited to survive.(ie.stabbing larger preditors in face)
