Bush enforced the Patriot Act, which takes away ALL civil liberties, and turned this into a fascist country. He wiretapped people for little to no reason, with no warrant. He violated the Geneva convention on not one, but 11 points. He supported torture (see my last point). Not only is it a violation of the Geneva convention, but it is wholly based on revenge and there is no evidence that torture actually leads to information - however, there is PLENTY of evident that treating prisoners as people and not denying basic rights leads to information. The torture is ONLY based on revenge, and does not lead to any good at all for this country. All countries who went fascist originally used torture for the "people's protection." He started a war that had to do with revenge, plain and simple. There was NO evidence that Iraq had anything to do with Al-Qaeda, and since the war Al-Qaeda has been able to prey on Iraqis sense of hopelessness and create more terrorists - and considering they were not in Iraq before, it stands to reason that the U.S. government helped create the problem. I cannot stress this enough: He systematically took away ALL Americans' rights - you included, @lol, so I fail to see how you can view him as such a hero. He used the national tragedy of 9/11 to seek revenge, blood, and increase his own power, but domestically and abroad. And how has Obama messed up so bad? He wants everyone in the U.S. to have affordable health care. EVERYBODY. Even you. Is his system perfect? Nobody's is. BUT he is using his policies to advocate change, not death. And you people confuse the right to health care with fascism, yet you're too stupid to realize that a) EVERYBODY suffers for lack of health care, not just liberals, and b) NOBODY - including YOU - can write an email or make a phone call or join a political organization without living in fear of being accused of being "unpatriotic".
