that's innaccurate, that's more of a metamorphisis. evolution takes place of hundreds of thousands of years. even if it were to speed up, evolution happens throughout generations not a lifetime. you clearly failed science class.

Yeah, it's metamorphosis if it takes place during one lifetime... evolution deals with multiple organisms (not multiple orgasms lol) and many lifespans.

the concept is kind of half-&-half. Evolution is the change in organisms to overcome adversities in their environment, i.e. pokemon evolve, get stronger, and win more battles. however evolution does take millions of years to happen, so the bulbasaur would never become a venusaur at some point in it's life, but it's millionth generation would be ivysaurs, then million generations later would be venusaurs. so Satoshi Tajiri is really f@@king Darwin up the @ss with his pokemon
Okay, here's a compromise for all of us: accept the Pokemon style meaning of evolution as a new definition for the word. In fact, when I use the dictionary function on my computer, meaning number two fits very well with the Pokemon use.
