  @up - nope, it's original Polish (and this ending means ownership of some estate like "von" before German or "de" before French noble surnames) ancestors of people with this ending in other countries were polish or their surnames were "polonized" between XIV and XVIII century when they become subjects of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
