Quite frankly, he greatest achievement so far was the potentially uniting event of his election. Not that that falls within the requirements of Nobel Peace Prize, of course. But one day did more to bolster the spirits of much of his nation's citizenry than Bush's two terms - even if he's done less than hoped to capitalise on it.
