  Why you fags think the volume range should be from 0 to 10? The value 11 means 11dB - what's special about the number 11? (is it funny because it's a prime number or what?). A bunch of ignorants (I'm sure the engineers who designed this amplituner, or whatever it is, know a little more about math and sound than any of you, including the submitter).

  You idiot, Golem. This is from the movie, "This Is Spinal Tap". While Nigel is showing Marty his amps, he points out one in particular which has control knobs with the highest setting of eleven (standard amplifiers have volume settings numbered from zero to ten), believing that this numbering actually increases the volume of the amp ("It's one louder."). When Marty asks why the ten setting is not simply set to be louder, Nigel pauses, clearly confused, before responding, "But these go to eleven" It has absolutely NOTHING to do with dBs or anything else. IT WAS A JOKE (From probably one of the funniest movies ever made).
