Theres one of these across the bridge in Decatur from where I live (I used to live across the street from it on ceder lake road). Its a retirement home. On google maps do the lat long +34° 33' 15.72", -86° 59' 40.64". So unless I hacked google and did a hell of a shop job theres one as proof.

These buildings were built BEFORE Nazis even existed. There are on the North Island Naval based on Coronodo Island in San Diego bay.
The Swastika was originally a symbol of peace and quite popular with many cultures. Hitler capitalized on its goodness and turned it into a symbol of hatred and genocide.
Nevertheless, it is irresponsible for anyone to just simply jump to conclusions thinking offense is the purpose in everything that has the shape of this fallen symbol.
Because of people's stupidity and rampant crying of offense, the US Navy had to spend money to "modify" these buildings to placate at bunch of ignorant whiners instead of use the money to protect the safety of those in the military.
So Carol, before you cry wolf, do your homework. Also, it's not illegal (yet) to offend someone.
If it offends you tell the U.S. Navy... I'm sure they'll get right on it... or blow you off like they did me when I asked about my promotion exam...
