  And when he got back to the future, his entire family were changed. Just as he got back, though, he saw a different Marty MacFly leave 1985. We must assume that the other Marty was the one raised by the other - more successful - family, and was in all likelihood a slightly different person himself. One wonders what adventures *he* had in 1955.

  All in all, the poster doesn't explain how Marty is supposed to have died in 1955. It's just that we know that that's the year he (accidentally) went back in time.
